In January this year whilst we were having our family trip in Malaysia, our family friends decided to drive from Penang to the border of Thailand for a short trip. As it was my first time to set foot in Thailand I was very excited to experience the culture and of course taste the food. I still remember when we first arrived in Thailand after about a 3 hours drive, we were all hungry and we had a tour guide that took us to a restaurant called Water View. And oh my what a view! The restaurant surrounded the lake and as the kitchen was situated on the other side, a boat delivered the food, most of the food in Thailand was spicy so luckily my dad and I could eat it, as we do like spicy food, as for my mum because she wasn’t much of a spicy food eater, we had to find non-spicy foods for her.
Here are some of the pictures I took of the restaurant and the food, enjoy!
According to our tour guide, ordering a whole coconut is must!
